Independence day – Truly a magical moment in the history of India when the Nation kept tryst with the destiny to attain its much deserved Freedom on 15th August 1947.
Today’s Independence day celebrations i.e. 15th August 2012 reaffirm the strength of Indian democracy. Its a moment of hope & pride for the whole Nation. India an ancient civilization, young in its people. A country of vitality constantly growing & revitalitating itself.
When India declared its Independence to the world; her founding fathers knew we will have to sustain and endure; we will have to adapt & understand change to preserve the Nation’s ideals of liberty, equallity, justice & honesty. And today we keep pace with the rhythm of the present. The context of development is important to define.
Our democracy must not only be the strongest in the World but also the angel of its own growth. On this 66th Independence day the Nation is especially thankful to the brave soldiers deployed across the boundaries of our country thus protecting the Nation from infiltrators. We breathe in happy independent air just because of these vigilant soldiers.
‘Vividhta mein ekta’ (Unity among diversity) is the greatest strength of our motherland, India.
On each Independence day, the interservices police guards present the Rashriya salute, inspirational for the children in their dedication, discipline & patriotism. Role models for young India are the men in uniform. Jai Jawan, Jai Kissan!
And even in the toughest of times our resilience & belief in the future helps us to grow & explore the horizons ahead.
School kids filled with patriotism & enthusiasm, participating in Independence Day Celebrations. Being a part of 15 th August celebrations is moment of immense pride for each Indian.
