Dekha Ek Khwab Cast:Priyal Gor Moniya, Ashish Kapoor, Shrimata Mukherjee
Moniya is a poor girl content with her life as the daughter of a watchman. But life turns turtle when she lands in Mumbai with her father only to discover that she is of royal blood—the lost princess of Devgarh.
Priyal Gor who plays Moniya / Princess Manyata of Devgarh, the main lead in the TV serial Dekha Ek Khwab, is a Mumbai based actress and model.
Priyal is just 17 years old. Hard to believe? But it’s true.
This is Priyal’s fourth serial. She previously appeared in Ram Milaayi Jodi – 2010 (as Mona Anukalp Gandhi), Baat Hamari Pakki Hai – 2011 (as Neelam) and Ammaji Ki Galli – 2011 (as Priyanka).
Priyal is currently dating her co-star Ashish Kapoor who plays Yuvraj Udayveer Singh, who is both her lover and tormentor.
Ashish has worked in a couple of TV serials before he landed up as the male protagonist in Dekha Ek Khwab.
Ashish is a trained interior designer and acting happened only accidentally. Ashish has been acting since 2007-08
His character in Dekha Ek Khwab is a complex person with grey shades who wants to marry Princess Manyata only for her wealth but then eventually falls in love with her.
Akash Verma/Aryan Rai Chaudhry is the male antagonist in the serial. He is the ex-lover of Princess Manyata when she was nobody. He is accidentally killed by Udayveer Singh in a fist fight.
Jainandini is the younger princess of Devgarh and is played by Shrimata Mukherjee. Jainandini wants to marry Uday but Uday wants to marry Manyata. Jainandini hates her elder sister and will do anything to get Manyata out of her way in her bid to marry Uday.
Dekha Ek Khwab is a wonderful love quadrangle—Manyata and Akash love each other; Uday wants Manyata and will eventually fall in love with her; Jainandini, Manyata’s younger sister, loves Uday and will have him at any cost and finally Manyata falls for Uday while the memory of Akash fades away…
